Answer Overflow indexes public Discord support channels and makes them searchable via Google and direct API access. This skill gives your Clawdbot the ability to search across thousands of indexed Discord communities to find real-world solutions, troubleshooting threads, and community Q&A that would otherwise be locked inside Discord.

Instead of manually browsing Discord servers, your bot can instantly surface relevant discussion threads from open-source project support channels, developer communities, and technical forums.

Hoe het werkt

The skill provides multiple ways to access Answer Overflow content:

  • Web Search Integration — Use web_search with site:answeroverflow.com to find indexed Discord threads via Google
  • Direct URL Fetching — Fetch thread content in markdown format using the /m/ URL prefix or .md suffix
  • MCP Server — Connect to the Answer Overflow MCP server at https://www.answeroverflow.com/mcp for programmatic search, server discovery, thread retrieval, and similarity matching

Threads are fetched in markdown format for easy parsing. The API checks for an Accept: text/markdown header to return markdown-formatted content.
