AI-powered job search assistant for legal professionals — research firms, analyze legal risks, generate tailored resumes and interview memos.
npx clawhub@latest install legal-job-searchLegal Job Search is an AI skill designed for lawyers and in-house legal counsel navigating the job market. It automates the most time-consuming parts of legal job hunting: deep-researching target companies or law firms, running legal risk checks, generating polished HTML resumes, and producing structured interview preparation memos. The skill intelligently adapts to your available tools — using MCP legal data tools when present, and falling back to web search automatically when they are not.
Each capability independently checks for available MCP legal data tools by matching tool names, descriptions, and parameters. If a specific MCP tool is unavailable, that function degrades gracefully to multi-round web search — without blocking the rest of the workflow.
Checks five categories of enterprise legal risk: enforcement records, breach-of-trust (失信) listings, high-consumption restrictions, closed/final cases, and court judgments. Each category is queried independently via MCP tools or fallback web search templates, and results are compiled into a structured risk report with a severity matrix.
Supports deep research via Metaso AI Search or Perplexity Pro for comprehensive company profiling, and degrades to sequential web searches when those tools are unavailable. Law firm research follows a dedicated framework that distinguishes public information (website, rankings) from private-domain intelligence the user supplies.
Generates a fully styled HTML resume aligned to the target job description's keywords. Choose from three preset themes (Business Elite, Modern Tech, Minimal Clean) or define a custom color scheme and layout. Existing Word or PDF resumes can be ingested and restructured automatically.
Produces a professionally formatted .docx memo covering company/firm highlights, business-legal interface map, risk and challenge analysis, the role's value proposition, and suggested interview talking points. The document includes a cover page, table of contents, and styled tables with a gold-and-navy color scheme.
Before generating the final resume, the skill produces an explicit adjustment plan: keyword mapping from the JD, experience reordering and expansion recommendations, and skill re-ranking by relevance — so you can review the rationale before committing to changes.
Paste the job description for a corporate legal position. The skill extracts requirements, researches the company's business model and legal risk profile, collects your background information, and delivers a targeted HTML resume and a Word interview memo — ready before your first call.
Upload your current resume (HTML, Word, or PDF). The skill ingests it, applies the law firm research framework, identifies gaps against the team's practice area, and outputs a revised resume and firm-specific interview memo without requiring you to start over.
Provide only the company name. The skill immediately runs all five risk categories — enforcement, dishonest entity, consumption restrictions, closed cases, and court judgments — and outputs a concise risk report with source citations, so you walk in informed.
For candidates pursuing several roles simultaneously, the skill maintains a consistent base resume and generates separate targeted versions and memos for each employer, keeping keyword alignment and style consistent across the campaign.
