Web Search Plus is a unified search interface for AI assistants that intelligently routes each query to the most appropriate search or AI-answer provider based on intent. Whether you need fast factual lookups, deep research summaries, neural semantic search, AI-generated answers with citations, real-time RAG results, or privacy-friendly self-hosted search, this skill picks the right engine automatically — giving you one consistent interface across all your providers.

Come funziona

When a search-related phrase is detected (e.g. "search the web", "research this topic", "find latest news", "搜一下", "帮我研究"), the skill analyzes the query intent and routes it to the best available provider from your configured API keys. Factual queries go to Serper, deep research to Tavily, semantic lookups to Exa, AI-answered questions to Perplexity, real-time RAG to You.com, and privacy-sensitive queries to your SearXNG instance. Provider selection also accounts for cost and rate limits.

Requisiti

At Least One API Key
You must supply a valid API key for at least one supported provider (Serper, Tavily, Exa, Perplexity, or You.com).
SearXNG Instance (Optional)
A self-hosted SearXNG URL is required only if you want to use the privacy/self-hosted routing option.
Tech User
This skill is designed for builders and developers who already have or can obtain search provider API keys.
